I'm interested in installing a 7" double din cd/dvd player in my 95 splash. I currently have the factory tape deck with the suto set button on it and it's big and bulky so I was wondering if I need an additional mounting kit for it or will it feet in the factory slot. Could anyone give me some advice on this.

 

IIRC, you need to trim the opening to get it to fit. The opening is a 1.5ish and non standard at that. Some people have installed a computer with a 7 inch touch screen in this space.

 

yes you will have to trim, and get the mounting kit from scosche or metra or whoever, on ebay. it'll go right in.
