2001 2wd 3.0 v6 issues... need help

I've recently changed the water pump, and timing chain cover gasket because there was a long time coolant leak. Good news...fixed the leak, and truck was running great! Was...

Then the check engine light came on, and got the code of P0305... didn't think anything of it cause truck was running fine. Then this week it started to stutter, get the shakes and now stalling issues. I'll be changing plug wires and plugs here soon...cause they're not looking so great. Wires look to be original, and it's been a few years since spark plugs were changed. Spark plug #5 worn, and all others look normal.

My question is...are there any other known issues with coil pack, and/or crankshaft sensor going bad? I'm not a mechanic... and this is the first time I've had any real major issues with my Ranger.

Thanks in advance :)
