What should I do to my 1978 4X4 Ford Courier?
I was planning to fix it up. It has a regular 4 cylinder Ford Ranger engine in it- I guess the old engine blew up or something.
I have already started sanding on it because the body is rusted pretty much but I can still save it by using Bondo (yessss). The floorboard in it is pretty rusted and has some holes in it (I will possibly get sheetmetal and weld it to the floorboard). It has no backbed though and I was just planning to just leave it a flatbed. The 4x4 locks needs to be fixed on it and other things. It has a Carbuerator on it too.... and it needs to be worked on.
What should I do to it? Save it? Leave it be? Or what?

Asked a mechanic here in my town and he said the old Ford Courier engines were special, but he said the Ranger motor is better in it for some reason?

Those are cool little trucks. I think going back to stock looking would be the ticket. I used to have two like this before I could even drive. My dad used one and got hit by some guy on the rear corner of the cab. Ended up selling both of them to my aunt, one for parts the other for driving. ahh memories
