2003 B2300 SE Supercab 2D 2WD towing capacity

I know the GVWR is 4800lbs on my truck. However I have no idea how much my truck weighs. I have seem some reports say standard cab is 3000lb and supercab is 3500lb but I am not sure. I need to carry the following.

2 people - > 300lb
Yamaha R6 race motorcycle in the bed - > 375lb
assorted gear for a track day (leathers, tools, cooler etc) 100lb
personal items -> 40lb

On the way back I need to tow a trailer that weighs around 400lb-500lb with a 500lb motorcycle in it. If my truck is 3500lb then that would put the total weight at 5315lb. That is more than 500lb over the GVWR. Is that something to be worried about? What limits the GVWR? Is it the brakes, the motor, transmission, etc? Thanks.

look in the owners manuel it will tell you total capacity and then just trailer weight
but please dont go over the gvwr you can cause major damage to the tranny and even roll your truck

well the manual says weigh the truck fully loaded (people, stuff in the bed, etc) and then subtrat this from GVWR (which is 4800lbs). So if my truck is 3500lb with nobody, then I would be 3500 + 815 without the trailer. That is 4315. So I could pull the trailer which is 400-500 but with nothing in it.

yea you should be good
i would have thought you could tow more than that cuz my 4.0 4x4 auto can tow 5500lbs not including the weight of truck (9500 with truck)
