2007 ford ranger PATS,PCM,WIRING???
Hey all,
So for the past several months I have been building a bumper to bumper roll cage for my longtravel ranger. In the process I had to remove The dash to complete The roll cage. The truck hasn’t been turned on since mid January of this year and a few days ago when I was finally ready to start it, The anti theft light flashes rapidly and won’t allow to the engine to even turn over. All lights on the dash illuminate. I went to the dealer and talked to a tech and he mentioned that it was probably the PATS system not communicating with the key and that it probably to to be re-paired. So I called a local locksmith out to do that. When he arrived and plugged in his machine it popped up with a message saying “unable to communicate”. The truck has no power anything locks,doors,windows,etc....Trying to avoid having to take the truck to the dealer if possible. Anything helps. thanks in advance. |
To remove the dash, I'm guessing you removed the steering column?
Are you sure you plugged all the wires back in ? not just the ignition switch? |
I’m almost positive I have everything plugged in
