The LII is no longer available. The FX4/OR comes standard with a 4.10 Traction Lok but the Torsen 4.10 is available as an option (code XR8). The Ordering Guide doesn't say if it is still the 31 spline axle as used on the LII Torsen axles.

 

Well unless something changes fast this is it. The St. Paul plant closes at the end of 08, they are already trying to sell it, to develop it, since it is on the river my bet is a bunch of high rise condo's. There are a ton of local news articles about this, and since it is the sole ranger plant now, I would start practicing your good bye speech's.

If something new was to come out with, wouldn't you'd think we'd already have a concept? something? I saw the Refreshed 01 ranger at the 99 auto show on a turntable. For all real purposes the 07 model year is almost done. if there was a replacement we would have already seen it. Maybe it will go away for a few model years and come back, that is about all to really hope for.

Yea....I like the sport tracs in the grabber orange, I'd loveto have a rangerin that color....espicially a sport. A Sport with the STX grille, would be killer!! All in all.....sounds like a nice lineup.

 

The FX4/OR floor is the late Level II style meaning textured vinyl with all weather mats.

The FX4/OR interior is "medium dark flint/blue" or "medium dark flint/red". Sounds more like a dark gray rather than black but maybe the standard cloth buckets have the LII-style colored inserts. Leather buckets are optional in all black.

Check this out: the FX4 Grabber Orange exterior gets the gray/blue interior. Yikes!

Thats correct because my truck is an Edge 2WD and its allot cheaper than the XLT 4x4. Also, I didn't want 4WD, but I like the ride height. So getting rid if the sport would be a big mistake, I mean, it was one of the reasons I bought this truck over buying something else (another brand). I noticed that a year or so after the Colorado came out, they started offering a Z71 model that was 2WD as well. Even the new Silverado now has this. People like riding high in a truck, it doesn't matter if its 4x4 or not.

 

Yeah like the f150 package FX2 is nice as well. I like the sport, yet it does not really matter because im sure 08 is the last year for the ranger.
