250$ to much?

250$ to much?

i found a 2.9 motor with unknown amount of miles for $250? the guy said i can drop the motor in and try it out befor i pay for it. Is it worth it?

i dont see no harm i would make sure the head gaskets aren't blown or anything else and find out the history of it?

I would want to check it out and look it over before I dish out the $250. But you dont know how it runs internally until it runs.

I paid $500 for my 3.0 out of a 02 and I heard it run before I bought it so I know what I was getting.

If you have the chance to try it out before you actually pay for it then I say go for it! You have NOTHING to lose there!

I would do it.
