3.0 Muffler and Duals "How"

Hey guys, just trying to figure out if i can run duals with a 3.0 setup, I know it wont be true duals, But trying to see if there are any pictures out there with this setup. Do you guys think I should run duals or 2 tips out the rear behind the passenger rear tire? thanks

I've put duals on those trucks before, tight fit for the tailpipes, but it's doable. I suggest you use a very quiet muffler, as Ford V6s sound like crap with common "performance" mufflers.

I am unaware of any company making pre-bent pipes for such things, I always just bend up straight pipe by eyeball. Expect to pay around $375-400 for such a system with tips, installed.

I think id just run dual tips. Dual pipes always seemed to make the exhaust note a bit higher on the v6s.

I'm gonna go with the thrush full welded single in/ dual out. I heard they sounded good. Plus it runs bout $40 for the muffler and the cost of some pipe to route it over to the driver side.

True duals don't sound so good for the price on these v6
