I haven't read any other incoherent threads made by you except this one. Perhaps your title should read (and should be clearly stated in your post) "Converting manual ranger to 5.0 automatic" and perhaps you should have posted in in the v8 swap forum. All of these are better ideas than attacking members on here and trying to assert your greatness amongst us "young men" because you've torn down a couple of Euro luxury car engines "in your times."

FYI: Just because it HAS a 3.0 in it means nothing. EVERYTHING 3.0 related will be removed. /FYI

your post is reactive rather than proactive and still you have not added nothing to the thread . one poster already gave his opinion; but you still feel I am being a smartass. If in fact I have not posted the thread properly than I appreciate the heads up s this is the first time that was pointed out and could in fact be true. but lets not start attacting me when the prior response qoutes where in some way attacking me; which I dont care I was just giving back what others put out and find none of what anybody says offensive.

Well if you plan on getting rid of the 3.0 stuff let me know. I would like to swap to a manual. Let me know if you would like to sell them for your 5.0 swap. Let me know. Thanks.

Martine.... Send Jordan a PM(Private Message).

I'm saying all this to help you now and in the future.........people who've posted in this thread are correct. You having a 3.0 now, and going to do an auto swap with a 5.0 in the same truck, means absolutely nothing...whatever is needed for a 5.0 swap is needed for your swap, including a trans that'll bolt to the engine and all the associated electronics(or the lack of). Almost everything 3.0 is going to be removed anyway. By your opening post in this thread, we know nothing but to assume you have a 3.0 manual and you want to convert it to an auto.....an AUTO 3.0. You need to be clear on your posts. If you intend to convert this said 3.0 manual to a 5.0 auto, this needs to be said in the first post. Being clear with your question at hand in the first post will get you clear answers. Not being clear, like in this thread, leads to confusion. How can people help if they don't have all the information needed from the thread starter? There's no need to jump down our throats because you lacked telling us a pretty darn important piece of info on your swap.

Bottom line: speak to us like we have no clue what you're working on and we don't know your intentions in the end.

thanks as i corrected myself in a above post Fx. and i do appreciate the help as 2 rangers are getting transplant with a different motor. Yes I should have been more clear. I was not necessarily trying to jump down anyones throat; but rather I was offended by one of the members post as it sounded very degrading. Thanks again.

I have pm Jordan and still waiting on a reply so that I can see what his needs are.

Thanks Mlw2olu.
