if you have a 4.0 OHV then yes.....if your truck says 4.0 SOHC on the plastic cover that covers the throttle body then no....

mtbphoto 09-12-2006 06:10 PM

Nice price, wish it fit my truck

2003stealthedge 09-12-2006 06:21 PM

i dunno if i would ever buy a used supercharger but thats just me...Ive had a few friends with stangs have bad expierences buying used prochargers off the net and it costed them almost just as much as a new one to get it rebuilt

ranger024x4 09-12-2006 06:24 PM

2000 is the last year of the ohv

sem1845 09-12-2006 06:57 PM

that's so tempting but it would probably cost alot to have it put in cuz i have no idea what i'm doing.... and i'm even making a trip to jacksonville in a few weeks

For those with a SOHC use this kit.

I beleive you need to add a m90 but its cheap. Also hes either a member here or RPS.

except you then have to find the supercharger....

shadyluke 09-12-2006 10:03 PM

I think this is the kit that D was telling me about earlier tonight.

l2en 09-12-2006 10:18 PM

Damn, there's 11 of those m90 superchargers for under $200 on ebay.
http://motors.search.ebay.com/?from=...8+supercharger

edit: doh! most of them are rebuilt, which is sweet. but want a $140 or so core charge which will be refunded when you send the old one back. most likely you won't have the old one if you're buying that adaptor kit.

Still under 2grand for the parts. You need a dyno and someone to write you a tune. Itys an M90 which is a 90cid blower. The EE kit is an MP62 setup @ 4000$. The EE kit is maxed out ( or close to it ) from the factory. When a roots blower starts hitting higher rpm's the heat generated causes severe power losses. With a rootsblower, innercoolers are tough to work with.

The guys dynosheet was 210hp/250torque with his ' kit '.. that is SAD. I can make that WITHOUT the bottle. Leo made 220sumthing with all bolt ons , no efan, no bottle.. just factory internal SOHC engine grinds.
