Four Wheeler would be my vote. Off Road has gone 90% desert, the rest are pretty good to though

i should put more details, most of what i'm going to be doing is either dry forest trails, logging roads (big whoop) and mud or snow... it's fairly wet here, there is a puddle or 2 that i know of (definitely only a puddle) that is always wet, even after our heat wave, it was still like 2 feet deep

You would! haha

Hands down, my fave is Petersen's. Followed up by Four Wheeler and 4wheeldrive.

The one thing I REALLY hate is features/tech/reviews being repeted in a different magazine...everything the same, same artical, but different magazine. I used to like Truckin', 10 years ago...

Lol, I just got Petersons, and they had a wheel tech issue. I get my copy of 4 wheel off road, and its almost the same thing.

But petersonas only because the tech section is great, and they cater less to show/new trucks and more to wheelers.

Yeah theres normally some sick rigs in there. I wish I had place to use one, the rangers would probably get pretty pissed if I did 70 down the beach lol. Not that they could keep though...

i got a subscripton to fourwheeler for christmas. i see the repetitiveness that is mentioned. it might have to do with them being owned by the same.

You'll never see the same exact story in both Four Wheeler and Petersen's, it just won't happen. But, you may see similar due to the fact that there is only so much new stuff out there to test/write about. Besides new products and basic tech there really isn't much cross over between 4WOR and FW at all.
