7.5 or 8.8

91 xcab 6' bed, 4.0 5spd, 10" brakes, I went to change the brake lines and brakes today, I also wanted to get info on the rear, but the tag is basically gone, I went to unravel it and it just fell apart I know 9"rears, but not so much 7.5\8.8, is there a way to tell what rear I have?
