Well I had the SCT XCal2 from a couple years ago with my stang. I just had em unlock it for $100 and then sent it to brenspeed for a custom tune, another $100. Still way less expensive than buying a new one and getting custom tunes. Now I need to figure out what all I can tweak on it!

the shifts will be firmer and will help keep the trans from slipping under hard acceleration.

No, the custom tune took care of that. I talked with Dave and everything I need is wrapped up on the tune I ordered. I told me don't mess with the "options". hahaha

Thanks! I've been off the past couple of days doing domestics at home and today I get to wash, wax, and buff my cobra sooooo I haven't driven it. But I'm suppose to take Taz for a photoshoot tomorrow so we'll see if I notice anything off the bat. Definitely keep ya'll posted, especially at my next fuel up. I'd been getting about 15 mpg.

No the tunner only works on autos because they are controlled by a computer. The manual isn't the only way to fix your slave problem is to replace it. You have to pull the tranny to do that.
