Icon8 Broke a bed bolt.

One of my bolts got over torqued when putting the body lift on. so I spot welded a socket onto the nut to get it off. Started to put on the new one in. Went home to finish it with the impact and it wouldn't budge so I got the breaker bar out and it snapped the threads. How do I get the rest of the thread out? And will my Body Lift mount come loose since there is no bolt securing it?

Thanks,
Clay

You will probably have to cut the clip underneath so the bolt will come down thru and yes you will loose the block once you remove the bolt. You could also loosen the rest of the bed bolts and lift the bed enough to pull the block up of the top and try heat and a pair of vise grips or pipe wrench on the bolt.

Its the far left one near the cab, Should have said that. It doesn't look like I can get to it from underneath with the bed on. Can I drive around like this for a week? Cause I plan on taking the bed off and replacing the shackles and hangers sometime soon, just got to wait for my friend.

Should be fine as long as part of the broken bolt is sticking up enought to prvent you from loosing the block.
