Explorer Power Seat Motors

The front motor (the one that controls the front end up/down), I'm about 100% is bad. I took a test light to the 6 pin connector closest to it and its getting power when the switch is pressed (each wire gets power with its respective switch).

Can you just replace one motor or does all three have to come out? Any write ups on this?

you will more than likely have to replace the entire seat track assembly. it's 4 bolts. you can usually find them on ebay. you may be able to get the motor from ford, but it's probably unlikely.

easier to just replace them all. thats what I did when I bought mine. I bought seat track assemblies from the junk yard. said if they stopped in 30 days, I could bring them back. so I figured that was the best bet.
