98+ Bumper & Valance

I want to replace my bumper off my 98 4x4 xlt with one of the newer styles and I am wondering if there are any other years/styles that can fit my 98 or if I am just stuck with the 98-00 bumpers

Thanks for any help

i know you can convert to 01-03 and im pretty sure, if i heard right, that you can go higher in the years as well.

Yes you need the two brackets that bolt up to the frame horns. Then get the two braces that extend to the bumper corner. Two brackets for the left and two for the right side.

I have a 99 and put an 03 Edge bumper and valence on it. Simple bolt on mod.

I'm curious on this as well. My current bumper doesn't have fogs, and I'd like to get a newer bumper w/fogs. I've already got the bezel, fuses and relays installed.

Do the fog lights on the newer bumpers plug directly into the 99' harness? My truck was pre-wired for fogs.

you'll need to get a set of 9145 pigtails. they have them at advance auto

as for the bumper, as stated above, you'll need the mounting and support brackets for the appropriate year. 98-00 wont interchange with 01-03, 04-05, etc.
