Hi all was looking to put ac in my 98 ford ranger 2.5l it currently does not have any ac I do not know what to buy as far as all the parts and what to do if anyone has done this before and can give me a list that would be very helpful

 

IMHO not worth it. Besides all of the piping, bracketry, condensor, compressor, etc in the engine bay. Now you have wiring harnesses, interior switches, the evaporator, etc.. Not a project to be taken lightly, or one that will be done in an afternoon.
Having said that, the easiest way is to have a donor truck right beside your truck, and start swapping things over.
Some companies will use the same wiring, and just not use what they don't need. Not sure Rangers do this or not.
