Rear shakes over 65mph

Hello all, I have a 2003 Ranger Edge 4x4 reg cab with an auto tranny. The problem that I am having is that at any speeds over 65mph the back end of the truck will shake like the tires are out of balance. Had the tires balanced when bought truck but they didnt take rocks out and didnt look like they knew what they were doing(local shop) so drove it for a while and it still does it. Took it to a discount tire chain, Ive had good luck with them in the past, and they said that they were off balance quite a bit and made it right. I did this all before a 200mile trip hoping it would be better but it is still about the same. Could it take time and wear in the tires for the ride to be smooth again or is there something else that may be causing this? The tires do look a bit choppy but still have a lot of tred on them. BTW it only seems like it is coming from the back of the truck kind of hard to tell with all the vibes but it feels like mostly the back. Thanks for your input on this issue.

if its the back could be a ujoint. did you try rotating the tires to see if the vibration moves?
