Body lift?

When you put on a body lift or any lift you haft to put longer wires and hoses in to reach. Is this true?

With a body lift, you will need to extend some stuff. However, if you buy the correct kit most of what you need (if not everything) will come with it.

Steering extension, shifter extension, fueler neck extension, and you will have to pay attention to some stuff like brake lines, fuel lines, and some other stuff while lifting the body....just to make sure it doesn't stretch beyond their limit.

A suspension lift is different than a body lift.

Suspension lift you will have to extend a few things as well. But not the same things as with a body lift. (ie. Brake lines)

I don't see what the big deal is to just answer his question even if it is a repeat. If you aren't interested in talking about body lifts don't click on a thread of that title. What, is he clogging up the forum with his threads? Isn't that what it's for?

Steel I find it more educating to read the stickies and other threads than asking. I do a lot of searches and if I can't find what I need exactly I ask. More often I have issues that no one has had or I've had every issues every has had lmao

This. People have questions, so we answer them. The whole point of a forum.

A body lift physically separates the truck body from the frame, in essence only changing appearance. A suspension lift changes suspension parts, steering knuckles or spindles or lowers the axles and changes the suspension, causing more wear on certain parts. And that is how they get their respective names.
