So I get a lot of rattling sounds from somewhere in the cab of my Ranger. I suspect it's the way the 4 doors are setup, but I was wondering if anybody else knows about this. I'm not familier with body work and would really appreciate any advice. This rattling occurs at nearly any speed depending on the bumps in the road.

 

Occasionally, I get what seems to be light rattling. I have found lubing the door seals with silicone pretty much eliminates the sound. So it must not be a rattle but more of a creaking of dry rubber rubbing on another dry surface. I don't know if you are getting the same thing. I don't have any other rattles which is amazing considering how much I go bouncing around off-road.
