ABS light/codes

I was out driving my truck today and the ABS light came on. Are the codes readable like engine codes? Nothing seems to come up on my Scan Gauge unless I'm doing something wrong... I was going to try my other code reader later to see if anything comes up.
Can a bad wheel bearing turn the light on? I have had a vibration for a while, and wondering if maybe that's what my problem is. I think I can hear a faint humming sound but it's hard to tell if its just the tires or not.

see if your brake fluid is low, the reservoir on my truck was low and it turned my brake light and abs light on

Well I think I just found out that my problem is definitely a wheel bearing... lol

I'm just extremely happy that we're home in one piece as I just came back from a 200km round trip with my fiance and my mom and dad!
