Welcome to the forum
Ranger seats from any year will fit.
If you have bucket seats with center console, and like that style then go with that, if you have 60/40 bench and want buckets you can change it, adding center console.
The seat track mounting is the same for either.
Seat tracks are mounted to the floor with 4 bolts for each seat, one at each corner, Ford used same pattern, or very very close for all Rangers.
Electrics are needed for power seat options, and there will be a plug in for weight detection, the seat belt reminder light and dinger.
So make sure you unplug these before pulling out the seat

Just about any ranger seat will be direct fit (not sure about 1st/and 2nd gen seats).
Pre 2002 explorer/mountaineer seats will fit with minimal modifications as well. With these you can get power/heated/leather with are pretty nice. You just have to run power to the seats. This is what I have in my truck.
