Icon5 AC R12, OR 134a

I took my truck to get some paint work done, & anyway I was thinking about getting the AC Recharged.
But forgot to look under the hood to see which one it uses.
It's a 93 2.3L Splash 2wd 5 speed.
Anyone know which one it uses, R12, or 134a ?

R134a was used in 1993, but I'm not sure if it was on a Ranger. R12 is high dollar.

134a.
R-12 isn't made anymore, and is banned in the United States. many systems were switched over.
but, Gen-3's are R-134a.

An R-12 variant can easily be bought, which works in R-12 systems though.

On a side note, didn't want to start another thread.
Does anyone install an aftermarket cruise controls anymore ?
Along time ago I had a 87 Chevy van without cruise, & I think maybe I had it done at Sears.
But it was an Automatic.
It had magnets installed on the drive shaft if I remember right, to determine speed.
