Foglight took a hit
Well yesterday a pretty cool thunderstorm came through and i went out chasing it. There was so much water sitting around everywhere, anyway going through one of the puddles my foglight lense shattered, im thinking it could have been because my foglight got everything real hot and when it hit that cold water it shattered along with the force of water. Anyways I need a new light and housing probably, and since im really lazy just wondering if i could order this from autozone or some store like that?
BTW- Im up in N.E south dakota, this weekend I will have to go out and take some pix of all the flooding, waters flowing over roads everywhere and theres this one small town and it has about 5-6ft of water in places.

Size dont matter...heck i dont know why its small, i dont know how to make it bigger. Anyways I did order a pair of foglights via ebay, 80.97 total, ouch! I was thiking about replacing both anyways.
I was wondering if any of you also have problems with moisture buildup inside the foglights? Both of mine would get all fogged up all the time, im thinking it may be because i use different size bulbs, the 9005.

**Update** Well months later, I can say I'm very happy with my new foglights i bought off ebay but.... it was raining a few days ago and I hit just a small puddle enough to spray up in the bumper. well now my driver side foglight is fogged up, I took a hair dryer and blew it out for a few mins (btw yes the light was fully locked into position) and dried it up but this is what im thinking... the actual bulbs that im using are the 9005's, now i compared them to the stock bulbs and noticed that the back part where they slide into lock are slightly different. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem with the 9005's or the stock ones.

Yeah, the 9005's just don't seat as tight and snug as the OE's do. Some members have trimmed their lights so the bulb can fit in. I've never had any trouble with getting the 9005's to go in or to stay in, but I have had issues with the fog light lenses fogging up. I just take a hair dryer to them and it'll work for quite some time. I find that prolonged contact in wet situations causes it. Just keep her dry.....LOL
