Well I was sitting at a dead stop this morning and got rearended by some girl in a lumina. She was going about 35-40 when she hit me my truck jumped into the air. This is the best part she was so ****ed up on xanax that she thought she could drive her car home she even told the cop that (her radiator was smashed into the engine her engine was pushed back into the firewall) we told her so many times she could not drive it. When asked where she lived she pointed at the drivers licence the cop was holding and said "its on there" Long story short I got a little whiplash she faid the field sobriety test very bad was handcuffed and taken off to jail. She had full coverage insurance and every thing.













She went kinda far under my truck!

that happened to me in my old ranger.. I put a pile of bricks under the bumper and got a bunch of my buddies to jump in the bed till it straightened out. I guess you could always get a new bumper and bumper brackets instead.. but my way's funner!

Glad you're doing ok Andy! Looks like it's a good time to get a rear tube bumper with spare tire carrier, and put it on her insurance's tab

 

how did your bed not get damaged? or doesnt look like it. roll pan? or like kyle said... what ya gona get?

 

I think she slammed on her brakes right before the impact so the front of her car went down under my truck. I am going to get the regular painted bumper.

 

i want a roll pan, too bad my truck wasnt black, id let ya have mine. lol

 

Sorry to see that happen to your truck Roach....But the good thing is your ok and it looks like an easy fix. Mine cost right at $9000.00

wow, good thing your truck is higher with the 33s, and she went under. But i love how when rangers are rear ended, the only damage seems to be a rolled down bumper, not much other damage. Give me a lil better feeling if the time comes i get hit in the rear. glad to hear your ok, and the another DUI is in jail!!!

 

SWEEEEEEEETTTT SHE DIDNT touch the bed sides!!! thats GREAT. the damage on the truck is minimal thats wonderful really. get a new bumper and bumper brakets and your golden.

SMART MAN. imagine if you had a roll pan when she hit you the truck would have besically been totaled. if you drive your truck a roll pan is so stupid it offers NO protection what so ever. i say get the biggest strongest damn bumper our there. screw up the other guy i say....i would rather have it be STRONG then look good IMO....

what the heck is xanax?

 

its a pill that really messes you up cant do anything makes you so stupid and out of it. I use to take them cause I thought they were "fun" but I stopped cause they really mess you up.

 

Welcome to the club. I have yet to recieve my insurance check for mine. Its been a while now.

I installed a hitch and a ball reciever to my truck since then, The next person to hit me wont be as lucky as the last.

 

Thats why I'm putting a hidden hitch behind my rollpan.. so the next jackass to rearend me can eat reciever. Honestly, if I get rear-ended any harder than I did this time, I WANT my truck totalled. They're never the same after a major repair like that, and the majority of my mods are removable to put on the NEXT Ranger I get.

 

If I ever total my truck I am getting a new F-150

Well turns out her insurance was cancled a couple days ago but I have unissured motorist protection. My insurance is not going up get free medical help plus money for saying I wont sue allstate. Get truck fixed get money for missing work. Get money for my truck not being worth as much for being in an accident. Oh and when she gets out of jail................. I AM TAKING THE ***** TO COURT! I am happy that the law and everything is fully on my side.
