Tips for quick frame paint job?

Hey guys tomorrow in auto class I'm going to attempt to make my frame look a little bit nicer to possible buyers..

So I bought some rustoleum flat black paint, and have some sand paper and whatnot..what all do I need to do?

I'm just going to be painting the areas that you can see..I'm not taking off the bed or anything.

Tips to make it look decent? I only have about an hour- 90 minutes to do it.

Thanks!

Just wire brush it and paint it. Any really rough stuff you can spray undercoating on.

I think this is more than an hour job unless your gonna use a grinder with a brush attachment.

it shouldnt take very long. wash the frame, then paint everything you can get. it will last long enough to sell it and then some. every fall, thats what i do, but i use undercoating instead. it holds up to all the snow/slush/salt.

i sprayed mine with a bunch of undercoarting. just made sure all the big pieces of dirt were off. and power washed it. let it dry. then sprayed the visible spots. been like that for a few months now and have had no problems.

Haha yeah. I figure I'll go over it with another coat again when I can get it up on the hoist.

I'll post up pics tomorrow or something.
