I am looking to replace the wheels and tires on my 2006 Ranger. They currently have the OEM 15x7 wheels and matching tires. I want to go up to a size 16 rim, but I am not sure how wide my truck can handle. I would like to go to 16x9, but hesitant to buy without getting some feedback. What do you think?

 

i have a set of 15x8s on mine and i know people with 35s go to a 15x10. unless I'm not understanding the question right a 16x9 should be no biggy imo. google images search and see

 

You can fit 16x9 wheels, but it still depends on the backspacing.
