I posted a few pictures of a similar Ford Ranger that I was going to buy in Fiji. I'm still in the US but my wife just took delivery of our new 2013 XLT in Fiji. I know, its a 2013 but for some reason it takes a year for Fiji to get new cars. Its was new, even has the Honk Kong temporary tag. My wife says its quite large and she requires the side step to get in. She has a 05 pathfinder where she does not need to use the step.

The pictures are not the best. If anyone wants more I can have her take additional shots. She drove it from Lautoka to Nadi in Fiji yesterday. Not sure but that's probably about 60 kilometers one way. She is very impressed. She reports monstrous power out of the 5 cylinder ecoboost 3.2 Diesel. Some of the Roads over there are quite bad but she reports the ride is amazing and the cabin is very quiet. Its not cheap, cost about 87000 Fiji Dollars or around 47K USD. There are VAT taxes in Fiji as well but not sure how much. In full trim, these bad boys are up in price with the F-150 these days. But I would much rather have this then a F-150. I'm sure in a more basic trim one would hope to buy this at 30K or less. I added the Nudge bar, roller bar, side step, tint, and backup camera. In Fiji, this is considered the best truck hands down. A real eye turner. It competes with the Misubishi L200, the Nissan Navara, and Toyota Hilux. Probably only the Hilux still has a few fans that believe its better then the Ford. However, the Ranger will destroy the Hilux in off road performance and nothing even comes close to the ecoboost power. Plus, this thing is made to clear 800 mm of water which will come handy being Fiji has many floods. Even on the main highyway.

Its time Ford builds a new plant in the US for the Global Ranger. In other markets one can get it more stripped down, in extended cab, and smaller diesel and gas engines
