HID = FAILURE

Yep as it says and i knew..

I failed state safety inspections with HIDs

hahah

But to halogen.. for like.. an hour. ha!


Yeah still retarded.

So not really HID = Failure more like Jaycheetwood = Failure for not reading and understanding state laws.

Well i knew.. but i was hoping my mechanic would pass it being he has passed things before..

Did you fail because of the HID lights themselves or because you had the single HID Kit (no High Beams) and you failed because you had no High Beams?

Good question. I don't see how HID's make it 'unsafe.' It's better vision at night!

Stupid laws.

How about it being safe for the guy coming at you at 70 mhp. Do you want him to see or would you prefer him to be blinded.

I think HIDs should be illegal for on road use.

so most of the new cars on the road shouldnt legal for sale in the us?

kinda wish we had some sort of inspection. so so so many cars come in with bald, dry rotted, chord showing tires, people drive everywhere with headlights out, brake lights out, no brake lights, etc.

because of the HIDs its says failure due to high intensity bulbs of blue color.


the high beam was only part 2 of my issue..

good thing i kept my halogen bulbs.

"glare" is needed for driving period. most US signs are not even lit at night, glare is there for a reason.
