Aluminum cover and gas mileage

I have a 2003 Ranger 2.3 5 speed The truck came with 225x70,15 tires and I am going to upgrade to 235x75 15 will this hurt or help my gas mileage. I also am going to install a aluminum camper shell it is less than cab high (snug top) and only wieghs 50 lbs. I have been told that this will not hurt but might actually help my mileage how , I would like your guys opinion . I get great mileage and dont want to mess it up . Thanks Ron

the tires will lower it by maybe 1mpg and that camper shouldnt really make a diffrence because its not higher then the cab and 50lbs in nothing...

Well that small of a tire size change and a camper you won't notice any difference at all.
