what about these? anybody tried?

For one, the factory bracket looks like it would make the seat too high in our trucks. Other than that it doesn't appear to line up correctly. My mom drives an 06 Escape. I'll take a look later to see if it looks like it would work at all.

It would be sweet if they did, Im not exactly sure, I havnt heard of anyone trying.

yeah it would probably require a bit of modification. i just want something different then everyone else that puts explorer buckets in, which are kind of ugly looking IMO..

no offense to anyone who has em.

That's it.

Are their seats any different from the explorer seats? The Eddie Bauer seats in the explorers are pretty nice IMO.

Tys 4x4 FTW Feb 11, 2009 11:22 AM

idk, but i really like the black seats i posted in the link. wow

texasfan1000 Feb 11, 2009 11:49 AM

My wife has an 02 escape and those seats are the most uncomfortable seats Ive ever sat in. My opinion would be to find some others.

why? with some modifications, anything can work.

i can wire up the power controls as well. that'd be sweeeet!

From what I can remember, there is an issue with width for the newer exploders. I am sure that the newer (03-04???) exploders, the seat itself is to wide to fit in properly.

Stroker72 Feb 14, 2009 11:07 AM

Take a look at these... very high quality covers for your existing seats

My05edge Feb 14, 2009 11:11 AM

i think on those seats you could probably find a way to move the stock bracketry from the ranger seats onto the new ones and make it work.
