Changin my radiator.. some questions

Got a 98 2.5L auto

Seemed pretty simple in concept, began reading the generic instructions for the radiator. Two things threw me off a bit, wanted to consult you guys before I got started.

Says something about airbag sensors are often near your radiator and that I need to be careful including disconnected the battery, true/false?

Secondly, it said something about I needed something to flush my system, some pump or something.

I got a buddy who knows a little more than me about vehicles but anyone mind giving me a basic play by play on this? I'm trying to get it done tonight as I got places to be tomorrow.

Thanks in advance

You won't have to worry about the airbag sensor. Thats not in the way.
Once you take the old radiator out, its a good idea to flush the system with water and put fresh new antifreeze in.
I always put the truck in the gravel, and push water through the main line leading into the block until clear water comes out everywhere. Then i use an air hose and push air throughout the whole system to get as much water out as i can.
Then, install the new radiator and fill it with a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and water. once the rad is full, start your truck and let it idle for a bit, long enough for the thermostat to open, once it does, the level of antifreeze will drop and you can add more 50/50 mix.

once done, i usually put a 70/30 mix of antifreeze and water in the overflow.
