another exhaust question
Well, i have been reading around on the forums for a few hours now, took the day outta school to get my new exhaust done, but looks like i got some more research to do. I have been reading on mufflers and know i am going back to the flow super 40, but the one i had was really quiet but think that was because it was s/in and s/o...so im going s/i and d/o maybe that will help things.
I have a thrush turbo muffler now and needless to say my stock was louder then it, but my questions are does dual outlet really make it louder and is the things i hear about putting the muffler close to the cat really make it louder? Im jus tore between what to do...and still reading threads about it...but none really tell me straight up which is better..

I have a Flowmaster delta 40 si/do that isn't really that loud. Granted it is has a deep sound which sounds nice when you're behind the truck. I think you really need the Orginal 40 series. I have heard that chopping out a cat will make it louder. Probably illegal though. Get some big tips, they will help sound quality. personal i am going to have it straight piped in the spring.
