what do you guys think

they look dull there, but i imagine he either cleaned em up, or i could shine em up myself. idk if i want to paint them or not..

going to pick them up in an hour, and painting them or not decides whether i get em mounted today or not lol

freddie Jun 9, 2009 09:39 AM

Um.... What material are they? I'm not sure if I'm crazy about them...

I say paint/powdercoat them black..

dixie_boysles Jun 9, 2009 09:39 AM

id clean em up man....just my opinion

Tys 4x4 FTW Jun 9, 2009 09:42 AM

chrome i believe...
either that, or they're just polished.

either way, i think i might mount them, see how it looks, then go from there

Smakes Jun 9, 2009 09:52 AM

hell you can rattle can it while its still on the truck .. mount em anyway lol

Tys 4x4 FTW Jun 9, 2009 09:53 AM

yeah but then i gotta tape em off, idk its just so much easier without a tire on there lol

shadow905 Jun 9, 2009 09:57 AM

black! do it

herm59 Jun 9, 2009 09:58 AM

Clean'em up first. Then go from there.

Woods-Rider Jun 9, 2009 10:11 AM

id clean them up first, see if you like it, htne if not, go black, hell they gotta be cleaned before they're painted anyways....

you can always add paint, but its a heck of a lot harder to remove it, so if you clean up first, and dotn like it, paint em

Tys 4x4 FTW Jun 9, 2009 11:00 AM

thanks, i think thats what i'll do

leaving to get them now

and get some new brake pads. lots to do today! lol

1996Ranger4x4SuperCabSTX Jun 9, 2009 12:03 PM

Leave them alone and just clean them up, if YOU paint them and not have them professionally painted or powder coated they will just look like **** in a few weeks anyhow, that paint will just peel off and chip and etc etc etc.

Tys 4x4 FTW Jun 9, 2009 12:26 PM

Just dropped it off. Getting an alignment done as well. These wheels are sweet! Need to get some polish and shine these babies up

herm59 Jun 9, 2009 12:37 PM

Where are the damn before pics. GGRRRR

Redrocket Jun 9, 2009 03:40 PM

clean them up.... dont paint them black i hate black wheels!! just my 2 cents

chainfire Jun 9, 2009 04:07 PM

Jesus, you change wheels like I change underwear, atleast once a month!

I say paint them black, and the outer ring, leave it chrome.

Tys 4x4 FTW Jun 9, 2009 07:13 PM

Well they're mounted. I'm on my iPhone so I can't post a pic on here. They look amazing as they are!

TrePaul86 Jun 9, 2009 07:25 PM

Sweet!

Looks a lot like American Racing Outlaw II's... I was looking for those in a 16in rim... No dice!

Polish them. Mothers ball the sh!t outta them! You'll love the way they turn out.... You'll turn some heads... Polished beats chrome!

TrucknGolf Jun 9, 2009 07:29 PM

I would paint them black just because your grill is black now. IMO

Tys 4x4 FTW Jun 9, 2009 07:29 PM

I plan on polishing them

Geez you have had 4 different sets of rims on you truck in the last year. I like they way it looks tho.

Tys 4x4 FTW Jun 9, 2009 08:06 PM

i know lol

these are by far my favorite

and they're in great condition. the ride with tehse compared to the steelies is crazy. so much better. and these wheels weighted maybe 15 lbs. really really light.

08rangerxl Jun 9, 2009 08:07 PM

Mmmmm. i'm in love with your truck!

TrePaul86 Jun 9, 2009 08:24 PM

Yeah, you see the weight comparison reflected in your mpg. lol

Keep em polished man! really looks good like that!

I think if you go black with them, you'll regret it.... It won't have enough goin on... The polished look separates the rest of the truck! Matches the mirrors too!
