I just put 5% over the top of the existing factory tint on the back and 5% on the front windows even though its illegal. It looks really good though.

I wouldnt put tint over tint unless its factory like your back window. But if you aleady got the tint film off, peel it off and put new stuff on, if its Factory 35% itll probably be about 20% or 25%.

if you did 35% over 35% it'd be about 10%. .35*.35=~.10

On my s-10 extended cab i had factory 20% on the extended cab windows and the back window and i put a layer of 20%, a layer of 5% and another layer of 5% on it and i put 20% with 5% over it on the front windows and it looked damn good, on my ranger i have a extended cab and i have 5% all the way around besides the front windshield and its not dark enough, im going to go with another layer of 5%. My point is it will stick, i speak from experience unless you get some ****ty tint or somebody that doesnt know how to install it or you **** it up on your own. Trust me it will work.

Have somebody do it that know what they are doing. Dont do it yourself like DANGA, he must suck at it or something. Trust me it works if it is done right, at least in my town, it is.

I'm going to have to agree with Josh on this one. If I decide to get mine darker, I'm going to tear off what I have now and have them refilm it. I've seen film on top of film before and it just doesn't look.....right IMO. I guess it just depends on who does it too.

Doing tint yourself is an easy process. It'd be good to practice with a piece of glass before. That's how i taught myself.. Tinted a lil window my dad had spare so i knew how to cut it/squeeze out bubbles.

Only tools and noobs rely on professionals for everything.

#1, if you read the post, he wants to put tint film over tint film, no matter how much you practice for that itll look like ****, plain and simple....#2 I dont rely on professionals, as with everyone else here, but when you got the money, you might as well have someone who knows what the hell there doing, do it for you that way when it gets ****ed up it can fall back on someone.

lmao easy there billy bad ***, #1 fighting on the internet is like running in the special olympics, if you think you won, your still an idiot. So dont get ur tampon all in a twist and be mr tough guy over the key board. #2, my truck all ****ed cause i WRECKED IT, probably still looked better then what you had, because if it was anything spectacular youd have pictures of it, and at least i had ***** enough to post it, and last but not least, it looks better now, FIXED then it ever did, the tint had nothing to do with it, ive had the same tint on for 4 years lol, and yes i spent $100 to have them done and will continue to do so

The long and short of it is, hey i have the money, im gonna bring it to someone who knows w hat there doing and have them tint my windows so it dont come out looking like ***. Plain and simple, because if 2 layers of tint film came out good, everyone would be doing it lmao and i can guarentee you aint no professional at anything besides talking **** on the internet, which is pointless so give it up...Moron

I will post pics of my s-10 i used to have if i can find some interior pics. Your good at talking **** on the internet also, im proud of you. And another thing, you said "if 2 layers of tint came out good, everybody would be doing it." The reason nobody does it on here is because jackasses like you have had bad experiences and then you run your ********** and scare everybody not to do it, thats why nobody on here has it done besides me because i dont listen to ***********. Everybody I know has had it done at least once and I have never heard any complaints until your jackass showed up.

Are you ****ing stupid? The reason im so defensive is because i dont want the guy wasteing his money and ripping the tint off when he can just tint over it. Another thing, why would i be defensive about it coming out good if i couldnt get it to come out good, that makes no ****ing sense anyways, you are probably some little punk *** rich kid that has never worked for a living and still sucks on mommys tit and daddys dick for your allowance money so you can put a mod on your truck. That is the only reason you dont like to put tint over tint is because that costs money and you know you would have to suck a little tit and dick to get that tint. Talk **** now.
