My 2002 Ranger- Tires and Window paint questions

Here is my 2002 Raner 4x4 Edge 4.0 L. This is my secondary vehicle so it doesn't get driven too much. I would probably guess maybe 3,000 miles a year. I live in Minnesota where the snowfall can be plentiful at times.

1. - These are stock sized tires of 245/75/16 and my plan is to replace them with 255/85/16 tires. My question is I should still be able to use the stock wheels for this correct? (16x7) I was looking on TireRack and the specs show it is the recommended wheel range if I was reading it correctly. Also, I should have enough clearance but just wanted to see if anyone else had thoughts or issues with tires of this size or similar

2. - The window trim in the 3rd picture shown shows the paint peeling? Is there a proper way to paint this up with a special kind of paint or marker? I've never dealt with this problem before.

Thanks for your help.

Nice looking toy. Looks like good clearance for stock.

It looks like those tires should be okay. I have a 1999 4*4 and it is pretty decent lifted stock as well. I just installed 275/75/16's on the stock rims. These are 31.6", yours are 32.1. I think you will be fine as long as you don't have crazy caster putting one wheel too far back in the well. The 31.6" don't rub on mine and it's dead stock with no lifts or tweaking the bars. I am actually looking to pop a lift on it of about an inch in back and 2 up front to level it. I don't want to go too high because I don't want to buy another set of tires, these ones are "as new".

I think they have small cans of trim spray paint at the parts stores. It's just flat black on most cars. Paint it.
