Urgent help! Headlight Mod Disaster

I decided to do the headlight mod today and I baked the set-up, pulled it apart, and everything was going fine, until the tape. I got regular masking tape not thinking that it would pull off the shiny part of headlight. I was hoping that this has happened to some one else and they could tell me how to fix this. It pulled the shiny part off around the "rings" that encircle the light sphere. So essentially is there a way that i can touch this up? I don't want to chrome paint the whole thing since it is only in small amounts. I'm guessing the best way fix this is to spray some chrome spray paint in a cup and use that to touch up the areas. Please can someone help me! Thanks a lot!

Yea, I am just a perfectionist, so it sucks. Well I guess I am gonna go get some chrome paint and do a little touch up.

Just paint the rings, it won't make a difference with output.

Yeah, the rings don't do anything at all - just paint them... I would have done that originally if i was you.

Use a paint marker on them, a black one, just do it carefully, i bet you'd never know.
