Aux lighting switches

Has anyone ever used the old floor style high beam switch as a switch for aux lighting. It seems like it would be pretty easy to do. But has anyone ever done it before.

I have never heard anyone using the older floor mounted dimmer sw for that purpose or any purpose except high/low beam switching but it would work but why… ?

There are so many different toggle or push button switches that you could mount a switch just about anywhere even on the sun visor or the floor if you wanted and since you should to use a relay for all Aux Lights the amperage rating doesn’t matter.

Just thinking out loud, your truck, your move...

I was just thinking the floor switch cause you dont have to move your hands to turn your aux lights off, its right at you foot and would make a perfect on off switch location
