Honestly don't buy one. Go to advanced auto, give them $50 bucks, they rent it to you, you return it, they give you your $50.

How many times do you replace ball joints? Not that many. Its not worth it to buy one for a one time job.

And yes go with Moog and Scott I could help so I could get my CB in. lol

i picked up this kit a few months ago when i replaced my buddies fabtech lift. a little tricky matching the cups up, but everything went in smooth.

Good tip 'bout sticking the new joints in the freezer, Gator, I like to stick a couple of brewskis in the freezer too, just so that the joints don't get lonely....lol

Truck is a 2002 edge. I know i wont need the press for the upper but for the lowers i will. I dont think i can get my hands on an air chisel. I think im going to go to advance auto and just rent one. I saw somewhere where they used a jack but i cant find it now.

Which part #? I converted to the 03+ one piece passenger side arm part number was like 980098 or something like that. I think the two piece passenger side arm is discontinued.

I went with the one piece since it looks better. lol. Both are interchangable with eachother. 02 and older are two piece. 03+ are one piece. We aretalking in regards to the passenger side....

yes we are talking about the passenger side. Is their anything better changing them out to a one piece? stonger, or just better looking.
Also should you be able to move the bolt around freely?

i have never used a press to do mine or the hundreds of other ranger/explorer ball joints ive done. i use a hammer to get them out and a floor jack to get them in with a piece of wood.

Today i did i set on a 2003 ranger 4x4 and to do uppers and lowers took me under an hr.
