well here i was on way home,setting a red light,foot on brake ,when i hear that old sound we all dread-bammmmmmmmmmmmmm. as usual they have no insurance.one thing i have learned over the years,is always carry uninsured protection insurance. this will be my third time in 3 1/2 yrs that i have been hit form rear. only 1 out of 3 times did someone have ins. trucks not hurt to bad.i now have tail pipes that hit pavement. bent bumper a little and hiddenhitch. nothing that cant be repaired. i just get tired of being hit

Sh!tty. Did you file a claim with insurance or is the cost to fix it gonna be lower than the deductible? I almost got rear ended the other night. Some guy just got backs on his Yukon and was messin with them and next thing I know hes screeching tryin to stop before my truck did.

 

That sux , did you have a hitch on ? I had a special car catcher built for mine . Works great on the interstate too . People get real close trying to figure out what it is ..... then back waaay off .

 

my uninsured/underinsurance protection should take careof everything as far as cost go-in dallas they have started to tow cars that have wrecks with no insurance. if you drive you should have insurance.accidents will happen sooner or later

 

that sux. in indiana they can take someone with out insurance to jail or they can lose their license. the law here says everyone MUST have at least liability insurance.

I would take the idiot that hit you to small claims court. If you were rear ended you automatically win - make 'em pay!

 

Chances are that if they dont have insurance they dont have money that was like me when I got rearended!
