Battery Cables

My old cables in the pics show many other wires coming out of the negative hook up. One is a socket plug that I used an arrow in the pic to show it. The other is a ground wire that I circled. I planned on reusing the ground wire or I mean crimp on a “o” thingy to make it usable. (Forum won’t let me post pic of negative cable I got will post in reply) I’m not sure what these parts are or if I’ll need to buy them because they didn’t cone with my cables I bought. Will I need to purchase new or reuse the old ones? |

The negative battery cable needs to connect to the frame and engine with a larger cable, this is for starter motor and alternator which both need higher amp passing ability
There is also a negative cable needed to Rad support(headlights and horn), and from engine to Firewall(ALL cab electrics) |

And what’s it called because I may need to buy it if I can’t reuse it. Now the lower 2 pictures connect to the engine, but my new negative cable only goes as far as the first mount. Do I need to buy an extension to reach the second one or fuck it? |

So I’m going to cut off that connector thing with two little cords going out of it. The thing you said might be for the lights? I’ll crimp on a connection to hook it to the negative terminal.
I’ll also buy the extension tomorrow. |
