bed is offline from the cab

okay, i have (as you may know) an 02 fx4 with a bodylift. when you look down the side of the truck on the right, from front towards back...the bed is faced out by about an 3/4 of an inch. i never noticed it being this bad. to give you some background, i was t-boned a few years back, and it was fixed by a ford dealership. i had the bodylift at that time. they had to replace some cab bodymounts but didnt have to replace any bodylift bushings. when i got it back, i complained about the bed not being lined up, but it wasnt that bad. they told me it is nearly imposible to line them up since i have a bodylift. is that true? i dont want to start losening things up and mess it up worse. what shall i do?

thanks!

No man, they should line up perfect...body lift has nothing to do with it. Your bolts in the bed may be comming loose, have you checked them?
Your suppost to check them after a while...there should be a little bit of play in the bed with the bolts loose, see if you can move it back.
Tell the guys at the dealer they are full of **** if they say its because the body lift.

yea mine has been like that[except drivers side sticks out] ever since my lift. a few weeks ago i was messing around and work, and noticed that my bed had some play in it, since they were already broken loose, i loosened the bolts a little bit more, and shook the bed back and forth intill it was closer to where it should be, then tightented it up

I had a body man help me with my b/l ,and he measured the cab from the body to the frame ,from the front to the back then squared up the bed. Before we bolted up the rear bumper, i will post pics of it later
