New Dynomax

UPS delivered my new Dynomax catback today.I grabbed a few pics.Didnt like the clamps it came with so i ran to napa.

Nice. Never seen those type clamps. What they for? Let us know how it sounds when you get it on.

Those are a band style clamp... they are alot easier to work with and everything comes apart much easier as well! They don't damage the pipe like regular clamps do. You can get wide stepped ones too for overlapping pipes.

Ahh, now I see. For some reason I thought it was solid but it folds around.

Haha yea i opened the box seen them and headed straight to napa lol.

2.3l Duratec, I installed it 5 minutes after taking the pics,ill take some installed pics tommorow.Hade to get started on a waterpump on a GM 2.2 ecotec right after

Sounds almost stock to tell you the truth.But after running a loud *** cherry bomb anything sounds stockish lol. I'll try and get a sound clip tommorow.

And yea i know I need to mod my hitch,mod the exhaust and throw on gap guards.

And resand blast my diff cover and paint it this time.

It has a nice sound outside of the truck not super loud but not ricey sitting inside with the windows up sound almost stock.Wasnt happy at first but now its broke in alittle i love it.
