Which BL to get?

So after seeing fordranger.com's truck, I have decided to definetly do the bl. He has 265/75/16 tires, which is what I have and I think it looks awesome with the 3"bl. I like the gap in the wheel wells better than the crammed look.
If I order from summit, the kit is $215, the manual extension is $35, and the gap guards are $60 (I know I can make my own but they will come out like crap). So, about $300+ shipping. Seams kind of steep for a bl, does anyone know of another sight to get a cheaper bl?
Couple questions about the bl... Is there anyone near CT that could help me put it on? I could drive to someone's house.
Will it be harder or wierd to shift with the extension?
Will I notice a big difference on the highway and feel like Im going to tip?
Does it affect anything in a negative way? like stress on certain parts like stretched hoses and such?
And fordranger.com could you post a few pics?
Thanks all, I appreciate the help.
Heres my truck as it sits

Oh and I have side steps to cover the gap, they attatch to the body if I remember correctly. Where else will there be gaps? The rear bumper but itsn't relocation brackets included? And the tow hooks, I just cut into the valence?

Yes 98-00 kit will work, everything in the kit works. I bought that exact kit for my truck and installed it, worked fine. Didn't have to lower my radiator or anything, but every truck is different. Now I want more lift LOL.

lol sorry blackedge, I didn't mean to make anyone mad, I have done a lot of searching and reading, and I just have a few simple specific questions. I have read that the summit and pa kit are the same, but I called summit and they said there are different parts and the summit will not work on my 03, also some people have said they were missing certain parts such as extensions.
Mainly, I am wondering if there's anyone around CT, like in MA where I could drive to to get some help installing it, I have a small garage with basic tools, No room to work in though.

I get cranky? If he used the search he would have found this has already been discussed 100 times and would have had more information then he would have known what to do for.

Lol thats true. The only difference that the 98-00 kit had on my truck was the fuel filler extension was the wrong size, easy 5 dollar fix at any auto parts store though. Everything else worked perfectly.

Call Summit and talk to one of their sales people about the kit.

They should be able to answer any questions that you might have.

That seems wrong. Paul just bought one for his 02 and it worked. Ory - RangerMuse just bought the kit and he said that he called summit and they told him it would work for his 02.

Oh it will work, that Summit employee was just mis-informed.

I read that the summit kit does not come with the e brake bracket or the brackets for tranny cooler, is this a big deal? I need my ebrake since its a manual.
I was also wondering if people have problems overheating, since the radiator is no longer in front of the grill, it will be behind the valence and not have all that air flow.

My radiator is still in front of the grille...I didn't even use the e-brake bracket on my kit. If it turns out your kit doesn't come with one you can have mine.

So the ebrake will still work fine without the bracket, and what about tranny cooler? Do i need that bracket? The pics I see of bl's looks like the radiators are sticking out the bottom. The radiator doesn't come up with the body right? I just don't want to cause any problems in the long run. If noone's bl has cause problems and the summit kit will work, Im going to go ahead and order it.

Yes the radiator gets moved up, thats why the kit comes with drop brackets for it. I don't remember seeing a tranny cooler bracket. If it came with one I didn't use it lol

Im about to order it, I have the money, just still debating. It will cost me $240 shipped with the gap guards and shift extension. Is it more difficult to shift (longer throw), and how is the ride on the highway at 70mph, do you feel unsafe or can you even notice?

Don't get the gap guards, you can make your own for 10 dollars. The ride will be unnoticeable, the only difference is from bigger tires. I can still do 90 easily.
