If the 11th digit in your VIN is a P, then your Ranger is from St. Paul.

Here's the other Ford assembly plants. Not sure, but I think at least one other plant also produces Rangers...
(Thanks to www.fordf150.net)
L — Michigan Truck (Wayne, Michigan)
S — Allen Park (Allen Park, Michigan)
H — Lorain (Lorain, Ohio)
C — Ontario Truck (Oakville, Ontario)
E — Kentucky Truck (Jefferson County, Kentucky)
K — Kansas City (Claycomo, Missouri)
N — Norfolk (Norfolk, Virginia)
U — Louisville (Louisville, Kentucky)
Z — St. Louis (Hazlewood, Missouri)
P — Twin Cities (St. Paul, Minnesota)
T — Edison (Edison, New Jersey)

Ford used to produce the Ranger here in NJ. I believe the plant has been closed for about 2 yrs now. The Ranger is only produced in St. Paul now.

Well that's good to hear, always thought my truck was put together. Aside from silly issues (i.e. radio not working). My truck has had 22k trouble free miles.
