I briefly hit 115 with my 33's... and that's with it calibrated. I was surprised at how solid it was at that speed.

Well I'm glad you got back ok. Over 99 in California is automatically reckless driving which is now a misdemeanor.

You sound like 80 is fast lol, I've done 92 easily with the 32s but the limiter stops me. I've done 115 in our Dakota once, thats way to fast for me not being on a track.

I'd like to get a bike some day, I like to think I'll never get it past 75, but that's probably what alot of people say right before they hit 100mph. lol.

the sad part about you kids on bikes doing this sort of reckless speed, is when you wipe out, which WILL happen, its just a matter of when, you will sue anyone and everyone around you. Instead of taking responsibility for your own stupiddity. If you speed on a bike, you should be pulled over and shot. Save the rest of us the burden of paying your medical bills when you wipe out and get road rash from travelling a mile down the highway at 100mph on your ***.

i swear, i see these young people on these bikes haulin ***, and its like, wtf are you thinking?! atleast in a car you have some protection. one might argue you have more protection in a ranger. but on a bike, you go down and its all over. you will NEVER be the same again. you will be scarred for life. and you will sue who ever was with in 100ft of your bike before the accident.

I swear, they should make travelling faster than 60 on two wheels illegal, and leave cigarettes alone!

Dave, get off the "high and mighty" kick, not everybody is irresponsible for their actions and sue-happy. As for the rest of them, I hate the sue-happy, take no responsibility f**kers too, but until society is wiped out as a whole, they'll always be here.

X2

I agree!! Even the snot nosed kids who speed around everywhere should get HUGE fines. 16 year old new drivers are bad enough to look out for. Young drivers have 2 settings....Stopped (usually loitering in a parking lot with mommy's car) and way to fast (going way above the posted speed limit in mommy's car)

i have never met anyone who sued someone when they went down on a bike, and the people i know who have sued got hit by a car that was speeding.

and you saying that some one WILL wipe out... are you fuking god or something? you dont know a damn thing. ive never went down other than loosing my footing backing up in a gravel lot.

and ive had friends wreck doing 140mph... all they got were bruises.. and they slid, rolled, bounced, and tumbled... leather pants with padding, leather jacket with padding and supports, gauntlet style gloves, DOT and SNELL approved helmets, and riding boots that come up to mid calf. more damn protection than you have in a car.

and it is not the crashes that kill people on bikes, its sudden stops or contact with other things.
