Bought a second Ranger!
A few days ago I made a thread about trading in my 2002 Ranger EDGE on a 1999 Ranger XLT ext cab 4x4.
Well today I walked in to my work, and handed Lance the owner the remaining balance on the lease (special financing through his own leasing company for employees) in cash. So now I own the 2002 EDGE, and started a new lease on this 1999 XLT ext cab 4x4.

It's a leasing company that the owner is financing me threw. Once the lease aka loan is paid off I get the title. I did mods to the 2002 while still making payments and he had no problem. Just had to make sure I had full coverage on it under the lease aka loan.

It is a very solid truck for it's age. Only had two owners before me and the owner before me stayed on top of everything.
It's the 3.0L with the 5spd manual. Manual windows and locks. But has carpet and cruise control. Also has ice cold ac. 150k miles on it. Just found a invoice where this spring he put all new front end parts on it. Tie rods amd ball joints. New belt and tensioner. Inside is also pretty clean. I'll upload some pics here as soon as I get them to my photo bucket.

Not trying to burst your bubble, but there is nothing unique about a xlt 4x4 with those options lol. Looks like a nice truck though!

No prpblem. Still think it's cool having a 4x4 with a manual. First 4x4 manual I've ever owned. All the other ones have been 2wd.

Discovered this truck has a K&N filter installed on it last night. And the previous owner used Amzoil for all it's oil changes.
Will need a oil change here soon. I never saw a internal repair order for this truck when my dealer took it in on trade. They just figured it was good to go. I'll give it an oil change this week with Mobil 1 and a motorcraft filter.

Great looking truck exact clone of mine - manual trans and mine is a flex fuel 3.0l also guess yours is based on the rear emblem. Check out my posts for some mods if interested. Also things to look out for rusty rear end stuff had to replace my leaf springs and shackles and shocks(but depends where you got it).
One very good thing most overlook with the 99 ranger is the fact that it shares the same year as the 99 explorer 5.0L, you might ask why does that matter but i know for a fact that year explorer 5.0L shared a few parts of the mustang giving it about 15-20 extra HP vs the later years and eventually they only have 4.6l's.
