You should tell your boyfriend that you took your truck to the shop and told them you needed your muffler bearings replaced.
Tell him it's a good think you did because your truck still had the factory air in the tires and they changed it out for some good winter air too. Then, go on to explain how you were going to get him something nice for Christmas, but the total of the bill was $250 so you don't have any money left over for his present. :D :D :D :D |
^^^ ahahhah good **** right there!
on the internet somewhere theres one of those prank call radio station gigs and they play it off as a mechanic talkin to the girl who brought her car in for something.... ended up telling her, she was missing her transmission, and that they wouldhave to put 2 of em in if she wanted to use reverse. and that she needed to fill ur lights up with halogen fluids haha. |
You're boyfried is correct! You must replace the muffler bearings. This a must do maintenance item, & you can get them from KaleCo Auto.
link--->muffler bearings  LOL I'm kinda bummed though, there sold out of Blinker Fluid, & I'm runnin low! |
i could probally get my wife to fall for the same things

was uhh... checking the specs on the inline for the rotary... girder... |
LMAO, tell your BF to sell that 70mm T body, it's slowing his car down because it doesn't rev high enough or have near the displacement needed for it so all it's doing is killing air velocity. Go back to a 65mm at the most.
And the muffler bearings that come with mac catbacks are the suxor, sell em and get Spintech muffler bearings. :) |
Tell him his Rotory Garter on his motor might be going bad its a common mustang problem.......
LOL.... serously he might fall for it i used to do that to people all the time at the dealer |
I used to get people all the time on fake things...When i was in school a couple of the kids didnt even know what a screw driver was.....and they had to work the tool room, so we would always go over there and say "Hey can you get me that canuter valve?" and he woudl look around and i would tell him which way to go....Some others include "blinker fluid" "Sprocket Turbulator" "Muffler bearings" some others i cant think of right now....
I used to get my girlfriend on them alot.....when i test drove an 06 f150 a couple weeks ago i had a sales woman, and she was young and hott, didnt know much about the truck, so we popped the hood and i was asking her where the stuff was and she was so lost..... Rocky |
After you pick up the muffler berrings, make sure to pick up a Turbonator for extra power results.

He's absolutly right. A few years ago I neglected changing out the antigrav bolts on my old Ranger, and one of them snapped and flew off into the MAF belt, and so I ended up needing to replace the MAF, bolts, and a few other things...
Be sure to check your catayltic converter's fluid level, too. If it's low or empty, pour about 4 pints of distilled water into your gas tank and it will work it's way to the cat . :icon16: |
when he replace's the bearing's make sure he use's a left handed screw driver and all ways have a bucket of steam just in case.....
