CB whips on stepside with topper
I have a 2002 ranger stepside with a fiberglass leer topper. I was wondering how/if I could mount cb whips on the side right in between the topper and bed? I was thinking of getting at least one firestik 5' whip and possibly dual whips if that would work. Any thoughts or comments on my plan?

hall, we aren't talking about semi trucks so quit being an ***. He asked for my advice and I gave it to him since I know a lot about it after driving semi's for 20 years. The reason you don't see them that way on semi's is because they would break on thinks such as bridges, cave ceilings, fire escapes in alleyways and so forth. Next time you type something, think about it first before coming off like a moron.

you r the one coming off like a moron, I was not trying to be a smart ***, and I see u are still a rookie truck driver. I have been driving for almost 40 years now and was trying to tell him that most of the signal from an antenna is out of the tip and with it trimmed right will work just fine. He could also run a duel set up and give him even more distance.
