Breaks
When I just about come to a complete stop I can hear the abs motor and the breaks feel funny but after I pump the breaks quick I don't hear the abs motor and the breaks are fine until I go to stop again. Any ideas what would cause that ?

Check your brake fluid level. Also, hold your brake pedal down and see if it continues to go down after about 30 seconds or so and if it does it could be your master cylinder.

Active ABS will cause a pulsing in the brake pedal that you can easily feel.
And since you don't mention an ABS light on the dash I wouldn't think the ABS system is the problem. Since rear brakes are often over looked I would start there. Look on the inside of each rear wheel for signs of leaking brake fluid. Set and release emergency brake several times, if you don't use the e-brake every day, then start using it, it keeps the rear brakes in correct adjustment to drums. |
is the ABS sensor connected? i had a similar problem
